Zack Brook, MA
Advisor
Zack Brock comes to us from New Hampshire, having grown up in the Lakes Region. After college for Criminal Justice he started his law enforcement career in the New Hampshire department of Corrections and moved through fields of local and state police. Always having a passion for psychology and of human behavior, Zack desired to acquire a better understanding of both. Returning to school for a BS in Forensic Psychology and a MA in Child and Adolescent Development Psychology. With a rich appreciation for the heroes journey that is adolescent development, he has dedicated his career focus in fields such as acute psychiatric hospital settings, juvenile court diversion programs, and mobile crisis clinical work. He continues to enjoy the honor of being a part of an individual’s journey, as they navigate their experiences through the crucible of adolescence and adopt the refining process instead of oppose it.
He is currently working on his PhD in Developmental Psychology and in his leisure time, he enjoys time with his wife and two children as they explore the outdoor adventures Utah has to offer. Zack also enjoys Olympic fencing epee-style, playing the drums and violin, photography, painting, cooking, and studying, theoretical quantum physics, poetry, philosophy, as well as esoteric world history. He is excited to offer advice and guidance to the students of MSPA, as they share their journeys with him.
