At Mountain Springs Preparatory Academy, we believe that travel is the great teacher. Our outstanding, formal classroom education is complimented by regular trips outside of the classroom to study in nature’s classroom. We call these education-led, field trips Knowledge Treks!  Students describe these treks as powerful, fun and life-changing. They live and experience what they are studying rather than just reading about it. Because many of our students are “hands-on” learners, this unique approach works well for them. For all of our students, these special treks provide memories and learning experiences they will never forget.

Each year Mountain Springs has designed an option to go on 1-2 international trips.  The purpose of this trip is to help our students get a sense of their place in the larger world and experience the life and culture of those in other countries. This trip exposes students to new cultures, foods and languages. These trips broaden their world and help them see what is possible when they make good decisions with their lives. Over and over again, we have seen students come back from these trips with a collection of life-changing memories. Below is a list of some of the places we have visited on our international trips:
